“The Global Learning Series” Honors Our Veterans With Release of Recently Discovered Historical Photographs

Story of 1st Lieutenant Robert C. Botsford US Army Air Force, Highlighted

WASHINGTON (BUSINESS WIRE) “The Global Learning Series,” the storied education-focused web and public television distributed program, is honoring our veterans with the release of recently discovered, rare historical photographs (www.thegloballearningseries.tv) that were taken in Canal Zone/Panama in 1939, by the late 1st Lieutenant Robert Charles Botsford, US Army Air Force. These 10 photographs include; the 32nd President of the United States, President Franklin D. Roosevelt (the only U.S. President elected to more than 2 terms and consistently rated by scholars as one of the top 3 U.S. Presidents), the USS Houston, Rear Admiral Richard Evelyn Byrd, Jr., USN (Medal of Honor, Navy Cross, Navy Distinguished Service Medal, Distinguished Flying Cross, Legion of Merit, Famed Polar Explorer), and the USS NorthStar.
